How does it work? The activated carbon acts like a sponge, absorbing the elements in beers, wine and spirits that cause hangovers - knows as congeners, or toxins. Aquamin®, a unique Irish ingredient consisting of calcium and Magnesium carbonates, is an antacid and settles the stomach, removing the acidic feeling which often comes after drinking, Vitamin B has been shown to help the body repair itself and also reduces some of the symptoms of hangover. Vitamin C helps revive the body ater drinking.
Can you prove it? Yes we can - we've tested Lifeline in a number of real drinking scenarios and measured its effects on both symptoms of hangover and fitness for work. Lifeline proved significant improvements in overall fitness for work. See our 'proven' page for more details.
Is it safe? Yes - we only use natural, 100% pharmaceutical grade ingredients. Activated charcoal has been used in hospitals for years, and our super activated charcoal has a the surface are comparable to the size of a football field. Lifeline has been approved for free sale.
Will it sober me up or reduce the buzz? No. Lifeline does not prevent intoxication or absorb alcohol. We recommend you drink in moderation and never drink and drive.
How does it compare to other products of this type? As well as being proven to be more effective than our leading competitors (see proven), Lifeline is also manufactured to be taken in one dose only. Other products of this kind involve taking the product with every drink you have with water - not very convenient, and even harder to carry out after a few drinks.
Will it work no matter how much I drink? No. Lifeline effectively absorbs hangover-causing elements in alcoholic drinks, but can only absorb so much. We recommend you drink in moderation. 2 capsules should be enough to prevent your hangovers, however you can take up to 6 capsules within 24 hours, but again, we recommend you only drink in moderation.
Why not just take paracetemol tomorrow? Paracetemol and painkillers only dull the agony. Lifeline helps defend against hangovers before they start. Painkillers can also have side effects, such as irritating the stomach even more when unsettled - Lifeline has no side effects.
Why not just drink lots of water during or at the end of the night? Drinking water is recommended in combination with Lifeline, however, it does not help settle the stomach, provide vital lost nutrients or absorb toxins, and therefore is just not effective enough by itself.
How do I take Lifeline? Simply take two Lifeline capsiles in each pack within an hour of your first drink for maximum effectiveness - the earlier the better. You don't need to wash them down with water - whatever you are drinking is fine.
